Here's my wife and boy enjoying the refreshments outside the factory. Notice the jade pendant my boy is wearing? That's the free gift from the factory. Looks quite nice.

The huge jade dragon wall facing out of the jade factory.
Must be something to do with fengshui. Nevertheless, an intricate piece of art.

A shot at the entrance of the Chiangmai Zoo. It is actually very close to Doi Suthep. Entrance to the zoo is 100 baht for adult and 50 baht for kids. And guess what, entrance to see the panda is the same...meaning, you pay to enter the zoo but if you want to see the pandas, pay again... This zoo was founded by Mr Harold M Young, an American missionary, who kept some wild animals at the foothill of Suthep Mountain to be a private zoo. It was taken over by the Zoological Park Organisation on 16 June 1977 after Mr Young pass away in 1974. Now, the zoo has 8000 wild animals, including 2 rare pandas.
