In Sherbrooke Forest, there are a lot of these Crimson Rosellas to be found. These Crimson Rosellas are "tamed" enough to be hand fed by humans. Will only bring bird feed the next time we come here as we are running short of time. Though there are supposed to be Kookaburras here, I only managed to locate one in the trees on our way out.

This evening, we are going on board the tramcar restaurant (boarded the tramcar at Normanby Road) for our dinner. It was indeed the experience of a lifetime, good food, good wine, champagne and best of all, you get to tour the streets of Melbourne as you dine. A must try experience if you are in Melbourne.

Check out the cool deco in the tram. The tram is fitted with stabilisers such that the movement will not cause the glasses to spill over. The waiter and chef are also very friendly, cracking jokes and making you feel at home throughout the journey.

Finished our dinner and the tram returned to Normanby Road at about 1930h. Luckily, the stop is very near to Crown Towers Hotel and we can just take a short stroll back to the hotel.

Went up to the Melbourne Observation Deck (55th floor of the Rialto Towers) along Collins St to admire the sunset of Melbourne. It was really a pretty sight....but somewhat like an atomic bomb being dropped down in the far distant.

2030h (MEL TIME)
The Colonial Stadium seen from the Melbourne Observation Deck. The special feature of this stadium is that in times of bad weather, the game can still go on. Notice the top of the stadium, it can be closed to enable gameplay to go on.

2100h (MEL TIME)
Night view of the Melbourne city from the Observation Deck. Not much cars around, thus unable to have much streaks of lights on the road.
