1020h (MEL TIME) Was told that "Puffing Billy" was supposed to be closed down when Australia switched to the MET system and more modern trains. However, a group of volunteers volunteered to take over "Puffing Billy" and turn it into a tourist attraction. Thus, they are always in need of volunteers to help run the "Puffing Billy". From the station master to the conductor, they are all volunteers.

1035h (MEL TIME) At last the train is moving off...quite fast and comfortable and we are allowed to sit in an interesting way. Take a look at the next photo.
