1810h (MEL TIME)

After dinner, we had a walk around the small town and took a few shots.
This small resort is located beside the sea and has an excellent seaview.

1825h (MEL TIME)

There are a lot of seagulls in Melbourne, especially here on Phillip Island.
Seagulls are practically flying past just above or infront of you.

1900h (MEL TIME)

After leaving Cowes, we arrived by Seal Rocks at 1900h.
We also visited the Seal Rocks Sea Life Centre, where we looked at how the seals lived on Seal Rocks.
There was also a seal watch panorama where living screening of the happenings on Seal Rocks were shown.
We left Seal Rocks Sea Life Centre at about 1930h and I took this photo of a sunset at Phillip Island while on our way to Summerland Beach to watch the Penguin Parade.

2000h (MEL TIME)

We arrived at Summerland Beach to view the Penguin Parade.
Here, there are make-shift seats and floodlights for one to view the Penguins comfortably.
But, you are not allowed to take any photos of the penguins or to bring in any photographic equipment nor video cameras onto the beach area.
Come dark, these little fairy penguins will return to Phillip Island to feed their babies on the island.

2115h (MEL TIME)

It started to rain heavily about about 2030h.
At long last, we started to see the penguins return to coast at about 2115h. The penguins started to form into "platoons" and started marching towards their burrows. It was really worth braving the rain and wind for the sight. I have only seen penguins on ice, in zoos and on TV. Never walking on the grass. The way they walk was really cute and funny. We returned to Melbourne at 2200h.
