Went in the temple to do some prayers.

Check out the chinese style buildings.


Similar to Singapore' Clarke Quay in the night with its cafes and bars.

This is the DaJinSi Hutong area.


The number of electrical meters indicates how many families are staying in this Hutong.


The 2 rectangular stones in front of the door indicates this household belonged to a scholar. The 2 knobs on the door indicates the rank of the owner. It is either 2 or 4 knobs.


In this case, the 2 drum-like statues means the owner is a warrior/soldier status.

Walking along the YanDaiXieJie and saw this interesting delivery "bike".


Quite a few interesting shops along the street.


The gate for YanDaiXieJie. Many years ago, this street was known for its tobacco business in tobacco pipes thus its name.

The Bell Tower. In the past, these towers served as the official clocks for the capital city. Bells in the morning and Drums for the evening.

After a tour of the Hutong, we made our way to the lunch venue.
