26/06/2019 @ 1320h (PEK TIME) Requested for a late checkout today. Our flight is at 1205am (27 June - Thurs). Left our luggage at the hotel and went for lunch. This is the Family Mart near the hotel where we got our supply of drinks.

1330h (PEK TIME) Was so happy there was not much of a queue at this duck restaurant. The first day we came by, the queue was crazy!!!

1355h (PEK TIME) Waited about 30mins for our table.

1430h (PEK TIME) The main dish.

I find this better than QuanJuDe but wife and kid find them similar in taste.

Spent quite some time here looking at chinese ornaments.

Quite nice to walk around here. More things compared to QianMen street.

1900h (PEK TIME) Wanted to eat at DinTaiFung but there was a long queue. Decided to go for Italian food @ APM instead.

All of us had this chicken as we don't take beef. This was quite ok.

Got a jar (1000ml) of orange juice to share.

Sweet potato fries which was good. After dinner, we made our way back to the hotel to collect our luggage.

2110h (PEK TIME) Spent 1hr in a cab with no aircon....zzzz. And guess what, all the DFS are closed at 930pm. WLE...

0400h (27 June 2019) Nothing to shout about...when you are sleepy and tired.

Wife and kid had this (Dimsum). Don't look nice leh...haha.

Overall this was quite a good trip. To be able to see the Great Wall of China and Forbidden City is a feeling I cannot describe. So surreal. It is really amazing how the people from the past managed to build such amazing structures. Did technology really improved? Can't say for sure. Looking forward to our next trip soon. :)
