24/06/2019 @ 0640h (HK TIME) Had to wake up early for breakfast as we signed up for private 2 days tour with Catherine Lu Tours. Meeting the guide at 8am in the hotel lobby. Today, we are going to Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace.

Never get sick of eggs.

First time trying this "dirty" bun. It is quite delish.

0930h (PEK TIME) Journey from the hotel to Mutianyu Great Wall is about 1.5hrs.

Main entrance to the Great Wall.....a bit more to walk first.

Shops and restaurants lined the square.

They offer certification services too. Did not check this out...haha.

A lot of shops selling hats and other souvenirs.

The one and only BK I seen in Beijing.

Need to board a shuttle bus to the other "entrance" of the Mutianyu Great Wall. It takes about 5mins or if you want to walk up...it takes 20 to 30 mins of steep slope walking.

Tickets for the bus. The guide will help us buy all the necessary tickets.

Another "long" walk to the cable car entrance.
